Fully Agree with all of the above.

I for one fully apreciate the effort Chaz put into filming the old v's new battle last year and i would recommend anyone out there putting on events to think about how these are going to be documented and remembered as I come from a time with very little footage from jams/battles of any quality never mind the excellent work done by the likes of Chaz Doy, Marko & Coyle.

This is our scene and we should all want to see it documented and preserved in a way that truly reflects our scene as only someone who fully understands our scene can do.

like the idea of a black list would need to be well organised with Bboys having the chance to get thier names off the list by attending when they say they will.

P i got that and i did enjoy hitting the floor a couple of times my point was about during the comp as we all agreed we could see more because of the seating we just felt we wanted to get down there and form a circle to watch that's all, we all had a great time and I for 1 will be back down any time i can.

Peace & respect always Bill$ LCC

The old heads in the west of Scotland have put on 2 Jams this year with the focus on having a great time within a club like atmosphere. Both were very successful in generating a great vibe that made people really want to get on that floor because thats what a good Jam has to do. We are going all out next year to include the younger generation so that they can learn from those who were there back in the early 80's, those who took it forward through the 90's and from everyone from todays scene in Scotland and beyond.

I travel to events when i get the time being older means MY work/family commitments will come first but i have always kept an eye out for local events and attend others when i could. Just jam this year was a good day out and well organised only thing those of us who went down felt was that they felt detached from the floor and would have preferred to get down there and feel more included.

I have Judged a few events and in the main i feel i got it right on the day as i look at how a person reacts to the music and their opponent and not on what i like to see. this i hope helps me to get it right most of the time and I am human so i will make mistakes and i will miss things in battles depending on how long a day it has been. I have always taken the time to explain any decisions i have made especially to anyone who is new to the scene pointing out the positives i saw and how to take these forward rather than point out what I thought was mistakes on the day.

Lets all have more Jams that include everyone old 2 tha new
