Yo fellow hip hoppers. I keep seeing peeps posting up about their events and calling them Jams. I was under the impression that a JAM was a party...?
We have a lot of COMPETITIONS in the uk but not a lot of jams. I know that in london and other major cities a lot of bboys hit up the clubs and such which is dope but i mean just a jam where everyone comes from all avenues of dance and like at many of the after parties that happen ( Uk champs , Ibe, Breakfest welsh champs) just a straight up party for no reason!!! Kindda like all city (shout out to Pointman !) that used to happen in reading...?
If we could set summat up what you think to that guys ?

Right sso i havent started anything on Uk forum for a while as i have been to busy with living but i felt the need (not to generate any response but just to say how I feel ) to voice this. Whilst i was attending Welsh Champs Two weeks i Spoke to Cyanide about why there is no more breakin boundries.
She just said the support was not there ( correct me if im Wrong Cy)and to be fair she did look quite dissapointed by this. I then had a ten minute rant about how people in the Uk dont seem to support and are always complaining about the cost of things and is it worth it going to an event because the latest and greatest is not there! I then said that its a shame and i will support as will a few others to get it back on.
On reflection on this conversation i realized that i was one of these people previously ! It was only after having a conversation with Abdul from soul mavericks about three years ago that i was a person that hated on peeps mainly from london or who i didnt get on with.I was a soul mavericks hater ! When i looked at it properly from this point i saw that there are a few groups and people that travel and support jams and Rep the uk internationally as well as locally which included soul mavericks and a lot of london heads! Also there a lot of people that hold jams, Dj, host and generally run around like mad idiots! So really this is my way for saying thanks to you guys who do what you do and keeping the scene positive ... Kevie kev, Hooch,Mushroom and Andrea,Mouse Blue, Adam and all the Amoury guys, ALL the soul Mavericks, Jingles and zorro (these dudes rep internationally so dont sleep!) Nadia, Silk Smvy and his Cambridge crew, Sin cru, Lonestar, Bad Taste, Timber ( doin it from overseas ) MArso and his boys from Birmingham , Mdk, nene lil J, Marko and doy travel team areial and sam,Cyanide and her crew, Jackson, Dickson, La familia boys Manny Spin gg Dbo, Soctopus, Trinity warriors, Dj Aiden, Just Roc,Bboy association, Bboy Wales Leigh Boost, Kaos, 4dee,Dennis, Mc Trix, Soppa j & leebe, Didge Flowerex, Seek, Rain Crew, Kofi, Shingo, Chimpchilla, Slammo nicola Geisimer, Julo lopez, Candice.
All these people are worthy(IMHO) to Be put on this list because they travel, support events workshops and put on jams, Comnps and workshops.
When you come out of your living room and actually go somewhere you will see that it IS important to support everything you can in this country or the nearest jam will be in France !
DOnt be a hatter and expand you mind to the fact that we are all in this together !
