Every year we have Jetty Jam in Plymouth- down by the sea, outside, live drummers, sometimes a full band if we can get one setup, BBQ, jamming, partying, swimming, diving in the sea, icecream, all good. Proper good fun!
Will post up when we are planning the next one, so would be cool to get some other people down.

Getting to Plymouth:
Rail: Rail services to Plymouth from all over the country. Plymouth is on a main line rail route connecting to London (from 3hrs), Bristol (around 2hrs), the Midlands (Birmingham 3hrs 40). Plymouth station is very close to the event.

Directions of from the train station to the church - about a 10 minute walk
Bus/ Coach: From Bretonside bus station, take busses to Mutley Plain.
Plane:
Ryanair - Cheap Flights to Europe with Ryanair - Cheap Flights from UK run services to Newquay (around 1 hour from Plymouth) from Alicante and London Stanstead. Bristol (around 2 hours by train) has Ryanair services from all over Europe.
Flybe - Flybe | Cheap flights & budget flights run services to Exeter from all over Europe. Exeter is around 1 hour from Plymouth with regular train services from the city centre.
Boat: Brittany Ferries - Brittany Ferries - Ferry Crossings & Holidays to France & Spain run services to Roscoff (France) and Santander (Spain) The Ferry Terminal is to the west of the City Centre, about 1/2 a mile walk from the Hoe and Central shopping precinct.
Road: Plymouth's principal access route is the A38 dual carriageway (The Devon Expressway)which connects to the M5 at Exeter, and into the heart of Cornwall to the west. The A386 connects Plymouth to Tavistock, Okehampton, the A30, and North Devon.
