Im organising a jam for next year in the West Midlands. Possible dates are april 14, april 28 or may 5. I need to confirm the date of the booking with the venue in the next couple of weeks. Does anyone know of any other events that might be happening on those dates? There isnt anything listed on the events calender at the moment, but people may well know of other stuff going on that isnt on there. Obviously it isnt in anyones interest for events to clash. So if anyone can give a good reason for not booking any of these dates, please let me know! Any help/info much appreciated.

Many thanks :)

Andy

Thanks for the heads-up. Isnt anything on the calender for april or may as yet. I went to Urban Sinfonie this year - really enjoyed the event. Battles were on a friday evening. Do you think it would be the same next year? The event im organising would be on a saturday afternoon, so in that case they wouldnt directly clash. Im veering towards the 28th april. Definitely dont want to clash with Urban Sinfonie or Tear it Up as both are very established events and as they are both not so far from the west midlands we would end up competing for people. As and when I get things confirmed i'll post up details and a listing on the calender.

We usually have Northern Hordes the week before or the week after Tear It Up as the councils work together.

Eurocultured is usually in may to around the same time
