Hey there!

I'm 22, so I guess an adult beginner then, and never danced before. Can someone give any tips on where to start? Obviously a school would be great start, but as it turns out, there's not that many of them in Brighton, and after I contacted a few, they only have classes for under 18-20 year olds. WTF? So if I'm 22, I can't learn anymore?

Thanks guys!

i'd maybe ask about private tuition in the first instance if they are only teaching up until 20yrs old. also I would look to find out where they jam and just go down to train. If you can get to any jams near you this is a good place to network and you'll probably find most people being quite open and friendly.

I started when I was 22, so no problems there man. As flowrex said, ask the Schools if you can have the teachers contact details and express an interest in learning, there will most likely be a session you can hit up and start learning from people.

Private session would be great, but they too expensive for a student though.

It's good to know that someone has started at the same age as I'm trying to; maybe nothing is lost yet.

I'm going to contact the guy from StreetFunk on FB now, I'll see what he's going to say.

Thanks a lot guys!
