previously events were getting sticky posts and as the mods have been working on the forum for a while it was felt that now that there is a million events happening every weekend the forum is overrun with sticky posts....

it is unfair to not give everyone a sticky, and it is impossible to run the forum when the whole page is sticky posts, so where the previous policy was to have a 2 month rule, the new policy is to have events on the Events Calendar with hyperlinks to the relevant thread in order to keep things tidy.

to keep the posts at the top you'll have to make sure you update threads which dope info and go back to the ways of old school web forum promotion....i know this may annoy people but I as a promoter I am also affected by this...I am happy to give it a go and hope you guys can understand too...it is a minor inconvenience but is a result of a really busy scene full of dope events....as a forum we need to get discussion moving and encourage more networking and chatting about breaking....the events calendar will provide a good way to administer stuff, thanks to the tireless effort of Mphatic who has cleaned the calendar up and added the links...must have taken ages.

please give it a go and try and understand the situation. this is the state of play for the moment.

hi angela n everyone, sorry I have been a bit lax, work, soul powered and studies have been keeping me really really pushed for time. calendar is updated now....old one deleted, more event s to be added as and when they come in.

Stickied events have now been unpinned, there are other admins on the board who have pinned stuff they wanted to keep up there for various reasons
