Big ruspex to all the crews, all the dancers, the judges, the djs, and the organisers for such a wicked jam with such a positive vibe.
Hats off to Squirrels for winning crew battles, 1vs1, and kid's battles. Special props to Hella, Will, Josiah and the other champloo youth kids - you guys are getting so good, so quick. And, of course, special thanks/props to DJ Trilby Tricks for mixing some fresh new beats - refreshing change to typical breakbeats.
Also, apologies to Lilou if I crushed your hand when I shook it...

A special thanks to Trilby Tricks and Mista Pete for being the DJs for my first event and for their time. Especially, Barry who was able to get me the PA system at the last minute.
Many thanks to the JAM,BREAK members and alumnis for their help and advice. Thanks again for Mini Ooze to step in on the day as one of the judges. Respect to Lilou and Ooze to accept to be the judges for SWGR at the early stages of the event.
I believe that it was the first time you heard Nick(the host), thank you, everyone loved your jokes and also your support when things were in the blur.
Congrats to Wet Wipez to come down to Bath for their amazing showcase to promote Krump in the South West. Thanks again for TJ and V.A.S for their performance and support.
Thanks to Viticus,Starbucks Coffee,Krispy Kreams,Red Bull and Bristish BBoy Association for their support.
For those who took photos and videos, many thanks for recording our first event.
The level of Bboying at the event was really inspiring for us(Loga-Rhythm) to train more seriously for SWGR'11:)
Peace,
Ryuazuki

Props for having Lilou down and to everyone who came, was mad fun battling the squirrels...
I don't know what everyone else is thinking but what was up with the djs playing club music in a battle?..this is a HIPHOP event, I really felt sorry for those kids in one battle (had a kid wearing a black du rag/red black tracksuit top?) who had to dance to some housey club music..if i would have been in that battle, I would have straight gone up to the dj and told him to change his game!
this is BBOYING...FUNK,SOUL,DISCO,LATIN etc...not club music..one dj was playing some hiphop which was cool but the sound was not loud enough and the quality was awful
i understand a lot of work went into this and this is a first event but maybe some food for thought
clearer sound system
break djs
lilou was the only credible judge i feel

"this is BBOYING...FUNK,SOUL,DISCO,LATIN etc...not club music.."
about 2/3 years ago u wouldnt of "allowed" latin to be played in a "hiphop jam" its been made into hiphop (props to timbers mixtapes), hiphop is all the good stuff from everything else all in one, which is why the culture is so diverse.
accept its club music, it has a simular sound to other tracks uve dance too ("theila - dance dance" etc..) and bboy to it, make it hiphop...
DJ's need a break if they keep playing the same "bboy" tracks all the time people would get bored of them, they are trying for something new for the bboys/girls to dance to, when they get it right people think they are the greatest, but have respect for the djs when they are trying :P
anyways in holland i hear they sometimes train to club music because its alot of hype :P
i know ive moaned about djing and sh*t but now ive talk to djs i understand what they are trying to do for the bboys, "to always raise the level musically to improve the dance". :D
probs a load of crap and means nothing to noone but oh well..
peace ;)

House Music is exactly that and has no proven history in the bboy circle, change or not, maybe they put it on because there was a French bboy in the house and they kinda dig that shit
not taking anything away from the event as i wasnt there,
