Hype! Hard to give any special mentions 'cos the whole jam was dope!
Shouts to BTC for the jam, my boss for firing me so I had the weekend free, pre-party was off the hook, Kid Karim smashing it, and Mounir for taking it!

PS. My beard just wants to give shout outs to everyone who gave it love, and says "Hi to P".

Much respect for BTC for putting this jam on and i thought the jam was pretty good, the cyphers were nice, the whole semi circle thing got a little annoying at times but thats understandable due to the audience, apart from that it was good, the cyphers was going off which is always a good sign to a dope jam.

The battles itself were ok, felt the battles were better last year but this year was still dope, much respect to Hats and Mouse for a dope semi final. Always dope to see those two soldiers go at it. highlight for me was the nice little battle with my boy Hatsolo in the cypher haha mad inspiration to me everytime i cypher with him. a true bboy in every sense of the word. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my brother MOUSE!!!! see u guys all in the next jam!

peace

Standard was really high, and extremely tough to judge. So props to ALL the bboys, the level has leaped up so much, was real proud to see you all doing your thing.

JUST JAM was hype, and next one will be even better..

Just Jam international was super duper dope! well done to the BTC lads for making this happen...amazing set up with the venue and workshop venue at the uni,

awesome pre-party...some of the most fun ive had in while with the whole scene there, on a good vibe having fun, circles, drinking and great beats.

the comp itself was awesome too....lots and lots of competitors and the level was dope...kid karim was going off too, lots of internationals making the affort to come out to enter, the crowd gave the bboys the love, the ust jam band where dope, the dj action was dope the grand supereme timber machine!!!!! also dj elemental too.
I hought the judges where spot on Tuff Tim Twist, Nik o secon to none (my drinking buddy) and P from bad taste...a lot of battles to judge and and a lot of tough desicions to make....did a great job...the btc fam where on point with running the background stuff...doke was spot on as stage manager too. all the bboys not just the 16 invitationals were dope especailly mounir, hat solo and mouse.

afterparty was dope again, everyone chilled with food together at the restaurant and then later out to the afterparty club where it was just fun jamming, hot girls and cigars til the early hours....

props to the sponsors for helping make the event happen Dephect clothing, trackside store, soul heaven and dance city too and bigger props to leah and the hopsitality commitee who put me and nick up for the weekend...shes a trooper and looked after us and was a great host all weekend.

Thats what all jams should be like...

hope the afterparty was as hype as the pre party (maybe slightly worse so i didnt miss too much!) just gonna put some random personal highlights out there (strictly underground you may not have seen them if you werent paying attention!)...

Harribo rocking some bizarre islamic finance tshirt to the jam was a personal highlight for me
Eel vs Hatsolo at preparty was a good match (different levels but similar styles)- respect to Eel for not caring n always freestyling. Hatsolo is just too funny!
Telling Sweet he looks like Swayze.
Timber, Ghetlow, Rocafellaz, Ben Jammin, Mouse, Heavy smokers, Phreniks 'cocaine' burn was nothing less than outrageous!, kid Carim (its safe to say every1 better train) and loads more ppl just buggin out
all those involved in the wee cypher at the far side of the room had such a nice buzz and momentum -felt energised when I was there and was pretty much lovin' it.
Preparty was such a great night jokes, dancing, drinking, chilling- pure banter...

Well done to Bad Taste (especially Doke and P). I think it was a definite improvement on last years - much smoother. You've got a good thing going at Dance City and the event is going to get bigger and better. Sick venue, good support, good crowd, bboys killing it etc. But the best thing about Just Jam is the atmosphere. And that's largely down to the hard work BTC put into the jam - it doesn't happen by accident. You guys look after everybody, keep things in perspective and get the party going. Don't miss it next time, props to everyone that travelled.

Highlights:

- The right man won - Mounir.
- Round the worlds/zulu spins seemed to be the move of the day!
- It's all about short, solid white guys with shaved heads in the UK right
now - Flo, R-Jeezy, Rokas all coming correct. I might try the look.
- Kid Karim - nuff said.

Afterparty was dope too. Thanks to Leah for putting me up. Was nice to chill with Nick (S2N) - genuinely good bloke, really humble too. Was a pleasure to catch up Flowrex.

Once again props to Bad Taste Cru, some of the realest in the scene.

Peace

Massive thanks to all BTC, great event and a high level as has already been said. Thanks again to Pk for the bean bag and hooking up the stop over. Nice event with a good inspiring and positive vibe with not too much beef just all out action.

As you can see by my disappointed look I got well smoked on the battle of the beards.
So that's it no more beardy wierdy comps for me.
